Sterling Digital Print will get tax breaks from the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency for its planned expansion in Hauppauge.
The company, a subsidiary of Sterling North America, is leasing and renovating a 75,000-square-foot building at 70 Corporate Drive. The IDA has preliminarily approved economic incentives for the $3.75 million project.
Sterling has pledged to retain 127 employees and add 12 new jobs as a result of the expansion project. The company is consolidating its operations from two other locations nearby and the move will allow Sterling to bring work that is currently subcontracted to out-of-state providers back in-house, according to an IDA statement.
